Please Lori, do not give them what they want. It's going into the wall.
You have nothing to forgive yourself about. You are passionate about non-violence and that's a beautiful thing. But you cannot change people.
The world is a violent place, people are violent. Those who recognize it, see it, acknowledge it, and WORK ON IT are like you. Those who don't are always ready for a war.
When I ask myself the question "What did I do for peace today?", I always think about you, I know you did something for peace.
